A Musical History of Yes

Martín Galli

A musical history of Yes, song by song, across their first ten albums, from 1969 to 1980. Not a biography of the band: it is about what happens inside each song, with the lyrics and the instruments heard as one thing. The book is being written and published here as it progresses. Each chapter gathers the documented history of the song, what the band said about it, and my own view of it.
